How I Keep My Mind on My Money (And Build Revenue Without Obsessing or Spiraling)

One of the things I'm most proud of throughout the lifetime of my business is how I've managed and stayed on top of my money because it's the exact reason I've been able to make so much more of it.

I doubled my revenue in 2025 while buying a house, moving for the 10th time in 12 years, and raising a toddler. I credit this practice, and the rock-solid relationship I’ve built with money underneath all of it in helping me make big leaps like that in my business over and over again.

I don’t come from a line of entrepreneurs. I don’t have a cutesy story of selling lemonade as a kid, always knowing I wanted to do my own thing. Quite the opposite, actually. I was taught that business and entrepreneurship was risky, unsafe, likely to fail, and for other people.
So when I decided to start my own business 8 years ago, I knew that managing my money on the backend wasn’t optional. It was going to be THE thing that let me grow fast and stay standing, even after being told money management wasn’t a skill set I had.

If you’ve ever felt like you can make money but you’re not very good with it, and you recognize that’s what stops you from going to the next level,

I'm about to show you what I do on the backend to feel confident with what I have and go get more of it, without struggling the whole way there.

So many entrepreneurs (especially women) are either avoiding the numbers completely, telling themselves if they don’t look, it doesn’t matter that much OR they’re checking obsessively, convinced that if we just look hard enough the anxiety will go away.

SPOILER: Neither of those approaches work. And neither one is going to get you to the next revenue level, no matter how hard you’re working everywhere else.

Almost nobody talks about what a solid relationship with money as a business owner actually looks like, let alone gives you the tangible how to.

As my business has grown to multiple six figures, there are a few practices I’ve put in place religiously. They’re the same ones that have let me keep scaling, keep taking bigger swings, and keep saying yes to more without freaking out.

I view keeping my mind on my money as a regulation practice, because it’s what helps me get clear on my goals, ground in what’s already working, and strategic about where I focus next
…and THAT is what actually lets you go after more, and get it.

Here's what you get from Mind on My money:

  • My exact money management process – The walkthrough you can steal and apply in your own business, so you’re not guessing or piecing together advice from five different podcasts (plus my money date playlist, because this should feel good!!)
  • How I use breathwork alongside that process – This is the key that has helped me really grow my mindset around money, feel excited for more of it and eventually change how I relate to money so I could welcome more and more of it
  • A breathwork session you can come back to anytime, so you have a path to the calm, confident, GROWTH ready relationship with money you actually want
Have We Met?!

Hi, I'm Chels.👋

After 8 years in business and a windy road to get here, I’m finally ripping the bandaid off and talking openly about money.

I’m also a former psychotherapist with a Master’s in Counseling from Johns Hopkins, a board-certified coach, and a certified breathwork facilitator, which means this isn’t just “here’s my system,” it’s a process built by someone who understands both the money side, the mental and the nervous system side and how the three together are exactly what let you grow.

This is for you if you know your relationship with money could use an uplevel, not just so it feels less stressful, but so you can actually trust yourself with more of it, take the bigger swing, and grow into the next version of your business no matter what revenue level you’re at right now
