When your heart is telling you something is OFF…

Admitting when things aren’t working can feel like the worst sometimes, can’t it? You don’t want to surrender and allow it.

Maybe it’s the relationship you’ve been pouring into for 5 years…

Maybe it’s the job you thought would be “the thing,” but you find yourself dreading showing up and you’re only 3 months in…

Maybe you thought that you could just push through the stress and anxiety and that it would just go away…

Gosh, it would just be so much easier if things just worked out all the time. We wouldn’t have to deal with the pain of the loss or the disappointment. We wouldn’t have to feel the uncomfortable feels. We wouldn’t have to do the hard, but often right, thing.

But here’s the thing, ignoring your true knowing, what your heart, mind or body are telling you is EXHAUSTING and typically adds to the pain in the long run.

So the next time you find yourself grappling with admitting shit is just not working and fighting against it, try allowing it. Get curious about what’s coming to you.

Remind yourself that everyone experiences challenges at points. We all face these moments of admission.

What would it be like to surrender and allow what’s coming up to exist?

To honor the knowing that this relationship isn’t the best fit…

To start making moves to do what you need to to leave the job that is sucking the life from you…

To get some support around your mental and emotional health so that you don’t burn yourself down to the ground trying to “push through it”…

Sometimes surrender and allowing can feel like a big ol’ mix of pure terror and relief all at the same time. That’s okay. Your future self will likely thank you for admitting the truth of where you are at now, rather than pushing forward in a direction that is not meant for you – just to avoid the inevitable pain and suffering.

What support might you need to help you move through this potentially hard moment of terror + relief?

You can do this. I believe in you!
